I am a Landscape Architecture student at Edinburgh College of Art and currently working at TGP Landscape Architects in Durham. As well as university I also model for Colours Agency and volunteer at Lothian Cat Rescue and Crisis.

I grew up in the countryside surrounded by pets, wildlife and nature, so it seems inevitable that I would choose an area of design which allows me to design with and for these elements.

I am especially interested in interdisciplinary design, and my work as a model and style advisor has really encouraged me to question and develop my design process.

Working as a teaching assistant in a gardening class for Crisis has shown me the importance of designing for people and the social impact a landscape can have. It has also given me more practical experience in the garden.

My main source of inspiration is nature itself, and I am very passionate about environmental issues and animal rights. Being a member of the Student Voice for Animal Rights has given me the opportunity to discuss these issues and help raise awareness. I hope to ensure that all of my designs are environmentally concious and give back to our planet.
